Applications for the Ellen Ahearn Scholarship

Established in memory of Ms. Ahern – a teacher, coach and assistant Athletic Director in Avondale for over 30 years. Avondale was Ms. Ahearn's family.

The scholarship provides a financial award to a graduating senior who meets the following requirements:

Avondale high school student
Participated in at least three athletic seasons during their high school career, one of them must be at the varsity level.
Demonstrate good citizenship
Public service
Maintained a 3.0 GPA all four years of high school.

The scholarship amount is $500.

Applications are available from the counseling office or athletic office.
